Yes she did it. It was really cute. Right after we returned from a mommy meeting playdate Jeanette took my sunglasses as I held her. I put her down for a second and instead of waiting for me to take her hand she just walked out of the kitchen through the dining room right into the living room. Then looked back at me and giggled.

She has been alternating walking by herself and walking with daddy. She has also walked to daddy just to take his hand and walk him around. She also likes to pick up the cordless phone, hold it to her ear and talk as she walks around.

We went shopping today for birthday presents and made a stop at Claires. I saw the future. I saw the future and it is full of Disney princesses, cheetah girls and hannah montana. and if not them their future clones. Jeanette was quite happy in Claires. she liked playing with sequined headbands and tutus.

It was also a timewarp back to junior high. rubber bracelets and neon headbands are back. omg. someone unearth the Ricky Schroeder and kajagoogoo posters.

I am glad to see my prescription raybans are back in style though.
